TRADING CONDITIONS
For HESTIA DOORS OÜ (HESTIA)
Order
Enter your order on our website and you immediately see the price of your items.
Add the item to the basket when they are ready. When you are ready for your order and have accepted the trading conditions below, you proceed to our payment system.
Products sold from the website are custom-made according to measurements and choices from the customer’s input, which is why any errors during input are the responsibility of the customer.
However, as a consumer of HESTIA, you can always contact the company to have such incorrect entries and choices corrected up to 24 hours after you have placed the order.
These changes are only effective when you have received confirmation of this from our staff.
Prices
All prices are stated in EUR including VAT. We automatically reserve the amount that is valid at the time of ordering and is only withdrawn when your order is dispatched from our factory.
Shipping costs are not included in the product price – but depend on where in the country your product is to be delivered and how much you need to have shipped, as well as the form of delivery.
All agreements are concluded in Estonian, and you can find order confirmation etc. by logging into your profile and obtaining a copy
HESTIA is entitled to change its prices at any time without notice.
Payment
At HESTIA you can pay by card, bank transfer or through our external financing partner.
Payment by card:
Payment for your items from HESTIA is in EUR. 100% of the amount is withdrawn within 24 hours as it is a specially manufactured order. This is for the sake of purchasing and paying for the raw materials to be used to produce your custom-made elements.
Payment by bank transfer:
You can choose to pay via bank transfer. If this form is chosen, you must prepay the full amount before we start production. When the money is registered in our account, you will receive an order confirmation from HESTIA – and we will start producing your elements.
You could therefore experience a longer delivery time, as this will be calculated from the time of order confirmation rather than the time of ordering.
The full amount is transferred to SEB EE65 1010 2202 9431 7227 with order number and name.
Payment via our external financing partner:
You can choose to pay for your purchase at HESTIA through our external financing partner. Creation of the financing takes place in the payment module where you select financing. You will then be forwarded to our financing partner who, after an individual credit assessment, will accept your request for financing. Terms, fees, AOP etc. appear on our partner’s website. When the financing is approved, you will receive an order confirmation. Financing is solely a balance between the buyer and the financing partner – and thus HESTIA is not involved. The amount is raised when the order leaves the factory. Payment via financing is currently through XXXX.
Regardless of which payment method you choose, our payment takes place through a secure encrypted connection. You can always see that you are on an encrypted secure line by clicking on your browser’s status bar.
For payment, you must use the following information:
Card Number, expiration date, Check digits
HESTIA does not store your payment information. If you have changed cards or banks between the time of ordering and the dispatch of your order, you are obliged to notify the company immediately. From there, we agree on a form of payment. If we experience problems withdrawing the payment from the specified account – and if you have not paid in another way before the time of delivery, HESTIA is entitled to withhold the goods or collect the amount in another way.
HESTIA then can claim compensation for its loss as a result of non-payment.
Order confirmation
When you have ordered your desired items on the website and completed payment, you will receive an order confirmation to the email you provided in connection with the purchase. If you do not receive this confirmation immediately after your purchase, you must contact HESTIA so that we can follow up on your order.
The order confirmation will contain the following information:
Name of buyer
Name and address of seller, here HESTIA
Description of the ordered goods and price in EUR incl. VAT.
The total amount to be paid including shipping costs.
Form of payment
Purchase date (transaction date)
Delivery time
Delivery address
Order number
Transaction currency

Product specifications and reservations
The dimensions of the elements on the website are always given based on external frame dimensions – and are noted as width x height.
The products are produced in quality corresponding to the price.
HESTIA wants to be your preferred online window retailer and therefore we are in constant product development. Therefore, you will also be able to experience that over time there will be changes in the design and the design of the elements.
All orders will be produced according to the standards that apply at the time of ordering. If you order the same product over time, you will therefore be able to experience differences. This also applies in the same way when ordering new goods for claims and warranty cases.
Delivery
Doors from HESTIA are sent by carrier to the address you have specified in your order confirmation. Current shipping prices cf. the website.
Please note that we only deliver to the curb. We recommend that you are present at the address when we deliver your items. Should you be unable to make the delivery time, our carrier will carry out the delivery. However, responsibility for your items will only pass to you once you have received the item. As a buyer, please make sure that a lorry with a load can drive to the specified address. If this is not possible, you can consent to an alternative delivery close to your home.

Delivery time:
Delivery takes place at the specified time from the order confirmation. We start with your order immediately after your order and generally have delivery between 2-3 weeks. You will receive more details about your delivery approx. 3-4 days before the delivery time. If your order is delayed, you will also receive an update from us.
Reservation: Delay due to force majeure cannot be claimed by the buyer. In all cases, the buyer can claim a maximum of damages corresponding to the value of the purchased item.
Shipping damage
If you experience shipping damage or if you do not receive the correct number of items, please contact HESTIA at info@HESTIADOORS.com as soon as possible and preferably within the first 24 hours after you have received your items.
When it comes to delivery damage, it is always important that you check whether the packaging is broken or there are other visible signs that the item has been damaged.
Please note, you do not need to open the packaging further to check for any shipping damage.

Right of withdrawal
Right of withdrawal when you buy custom-made goods:
The normal right of withdrawal that you know from online shopping does not apply to custom-made goods. All our products at HESTIA are produced according to your goals and wishes – and therefore cannot be canceled after purchase. If you have corrections to your order, please contact HESTIA no later than 24 hours after your order has been placed on the website – so that we can get your corrections into production. Your order is sent directly from the website and on to the factory to give you a quick dispatch and short delivery time. Therefore, all corrections must be made before production begins with your order and your right of withdrawal is limited to immediately after your order on the website.
If you have changes to an order, this must be done within 24 hours after your order has been completed. After 24 hours the status is changed to ‘sent to factory’ and possible changes are most likely no longer possible.

Complaints and Warranty
We provide a 5-year guarantee on our SMARTLINE doors and 2 years on the rest
At the moment, we do not have the opportunity to sell abroad. This means that all products from HESTIA that are installed abroad are not covered by our warranty.

Right of complaint:
When you shop with us as a consumer, the rules of the Purchase Act apply to the purchase of goods. As a customer of HESTIA, if you experience errors or deficiencies in your elements, you have the right to complain for 24 months. If the complaint is justified and the defect did not arise from incorrect use of the products, HESTIA will ensure that you can either get the product repaired, exchanged, the money returned or a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation.
All complaints should always be made to our email CLAIM@HESTIADOORS.com with a short description and attached photo documentation. Visible errors and defects must be reported to HESTIA as soon as possible after delivery. If you receive elements with visible errors and/or defects, the elements must not be installed until your case has been concluded and you have received a written agreement on the decision of the case.
All complaints must be sent to HESTIA within a reasonable time after you have discovered the error. All complaints received no later than 14 days after the fault has been found will be considered timely.
If the complaint is justified, HESTIA can repair the damage to the element, replace it with a new product or give a decoration to the product.
Transport damage:
Transport damage must be reported no later than 24 hours after you have received your order. This is our guarantee that it is damage that occurred during transport and not during moving or assembly. If you receive an order with transport damage, it is important that you wait to install the product until you have received a response to your complaint.
If a service visit is booked and during the visit it is found that the challenge with the element is not eligible for complaint or warranty, HESTIA reserves the right to invoice you for this visit with an invoice of EUR XXX incl. VAT.
The guarantee is void if:
Unassembled items are not stored dry and safe
The installation has not been carried out correctly – read more about installation
Note for inward-opening doors: When you have to choose the opening direction of your facade door, it is of great importance to check whether the door may be exposed to extreme weather conditions, e.g. whether it must have an opening direction where it is exposed to violent impacts without shelter. In terms of construction, inward-facing doors cannot be 100% protected against water ingress in extreme weather conditions such as driving rain. To ensure optimal sealing, the 3-point lock must be activated. There is thus no guarantee against water penetration based on the above conditions.
Privacy policy and data processing
We need the following information when you shop with us:

We register and pass on the personal data that is necessary to be able to deliver the goods to you.
The information is passed on to the supplier and the carrier(s) responsible for the transport of your order.
The personal information is registered with HESTIA and stored for seven years, after which it is deleted. We also collaborate with several other companies that store and process data. The companies only process information on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes. We only work with data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide your information with sufficient protection.

You have the right to be informed about which information we process about you.
If you believe that the information is inaccurate, you have the right to have it corrected. In some cases, we are obliged to delete your personal data if you ask for it. It can, for example, be if your data is no longer necessary in relation to the purpose for which we were to use it.
