CE

Many products, also our exterior doors, require CE marking before they can be sold in the market. CE marking indicates that a product has been assessed by the manufacturer and deemed to meet EU safety, health, and environmental protection requirements.

As the product’s manufacturer, we have the responsibility for declaring conformity with all requirements. Hereby Hestia Doors will:

  • ensure conformity with all relevant EU-wide requirements
  • we involve a notified body to test our products
  • put together a technical dossier documenting conformity
  • and sign an EU declaration of conformity

Once our product bears the CE marking — on any open request from national authorities, we must provide them with all the information and supporting documentation concerning CE marking.

Hestia Door CE label is accompanied by the identification number of the notified body. The CE marking is visible on the door edge below the upper hinge.

All the product information is defined in the Declaration of Performance, which you can download from here….:

Please be noted: Our Cottage doors, building doors, and 18-degree doors are not identified as exterior doors and they are not recommended to use between the heated and not heated room.

Therefore these doors are not CE labeled and the performance tests are not planned
